Kara Cook

Town Administrator

Kara Cook serves as the Town Administrator for the Town of Goldsby, bringing more than two decades of experience in public service, environmental compliance, and organizational leadership. She has worked at the local, state, and federal levels, including roles with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma and is committed to transparent governance, sound fiscal management, and supporting the continued growth and quality of life in Goldsby.

Ronny Nelson
Public Works Director

Ronny works under the direction of the Board of Trustees, Airport Trust, Water Authority and Public Works Authority. He is in charge of managing the daily operations of David J. Perry Airport, the water treatment plant and distribution system as well as streets and drainage maintenance for the Town of Goldsby.

Sandy Jenkins
Town Clerk and Treasurer

Sandy works under the direction of the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the daily management of Town Hall and its staff. As Town Clerk, Sandy’s responsibilities include:

♦ Keeping the minutes of both the Board of Trustees and Public Works Authority

♦ Enrolling ordinances and resolutions passed by the trustees in the appropriate locations

♦ Serving as custodian of documents, records and archives, as may be provided for by state law or local ordinance

♦ Attesting and affixing the seal of the Town to documents as required by law or ordinance

♦ Publishing notices as may be provided for by law; and other duties as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.

As Town Treasurer Sandy’s responsibilities include maintaining accounts and books to show where and what source all funds paid to the Town have been derived and to whom and when any monies have been paid. Her duties also include investing available funds and keeping records on all investments and interest earned.
